A Day Trip

This past Saturday Darcy and I made a quick day trip up to the camp. We needed to bring up our screens for the porch and some furniture. This will be a short post, because we were only there for a few hours, so I'll let the pictures tell the story...

The next two pictures were taken on our drive up. I wanted to get some shots of how eerie the sky looked (but the pictures don't do it justice). Everything was orange, we're assuming it's from a forest fire, but it was freaky. It all cleared off once we hit the camp thankfully..

And finally a shot of the path between our camp and Adam's. Notice the stump of the "woodpecker tree"..it had fallen when we were there last weekend. Of course we used it for the firepit..
